Study guide for Fides et Ratio

The Friends of John Paul II Be Not Afraid Foundation has developed its first major resource for promoting the life, works and spirituality of St. John Paul II: a study guide for Fides et Ratio (FR), the great 1998 encyclical on the relationship between Faith and Reason. The full document is attached for your review.

There are ten sessions: 1 overview session, 1 for the introduction, 1 for each of the 7 chapters and then 1 for the conclusion. THE STUDY GUIDE WAS CREATED FOR NON-SCHOLARS with the purpose of breaking open FR and helping folks apply its message to their lives and ministry. It will be followed by study sessions on every major document that John Paul II produced – next up is his apostolic exhortation on the family (Familiaris Consortio).
